Like any other industry in Canada, it is mandatory to complete pre-licensing training. You can do this from a certified institution before appearing for the real estate licensing exam.
The duration of the training, educational, and licensing details, may differ across provinces or territories.

The Licensing Exam

Apply for Your License
Applying for your license is an essential step to becoming a qualified real estate agent in Canada. A licensing fee is paid to the Securities Commission as part of the application. The process includes a background check of the applicant.
This will not take more than 48 hours, provided there are no past criminal proceedings, regulatory proceedings, civil proceedings, and bankruptcies.
Congratulations! You are Now a Real Estate Agent.
